MR. LISKUSKY
As short, stubby and revolting as the cheap cigar he smokes, Mr. Liskusky feels that he’s doing Joe a favor by allowing him to wed his only daughter, Mille. He even buys them a house and gives Joe a job at his mill (“Liskusky Knitting Mills- The Largest Manufactory Of Foot Gloves This Side Of The Mississippi”). But Mr. Liskusky makes no effort to hide the fact that he can’t stand his son-in-law and doesn’t trust him. This gruff, rude little blowhard is always a minute away from blowing the obvious toupee off his lid.
